Dance Outside Of Time
The inspiration for this painting came from Mary Baker's song "Take Hold of Me." The lyrics "I want to dance outside of time... in your glory" resonated with me. To convey my experience, I envisioned expressing it through the imagery of an antique clock, mystical clouds, and a classical dancer.

In His presence you experience the glory of His rapture. You are lifted inside and out. Your heart soars and you are overcome with joy. In His loving embrace you surrender, trusting Him completely. He undresses your disguises. The troubles of this world seem far away. And even if the other shoe drops, you know everything will be okay, because He has you. He holds you. He rejoices with you. He really loves you.

In Him you live and move and have your being. Your spiritual life in the unseen realm is like dancing with an invisible man. To do this tango you must be totally surrendered to His lead. Then as you wait on Him (the word wait in Isaiah 40:31 actually means to be entangled), you are renewed and strengthened. You become one with Him, you are entangled, your spirit is joined to His. Together you move as one being, where you are in Him and He is in you. It is your beautiful dance. Acts 17:28
